Drue Williams<\/strong>, a native Detroiter, has worked in various plays regionally and in New York City, including, \u201cBook of the Dead: Second Avenue\u201d (Public Theatre), \u201cAmerican Menu\u201d (New Federal Theatre), \u201cLife During Wartime\u201d (Nuyorican Poets Caf\u00e9) and Bee-Luther-Hatchee (Stamford Theatre Works), among others. She toured the country as Harriet Tubman in \u201cFreedom Train\u201d (Theatreworks USA) and was heard on Jazzplay\u2019s, \u201cExplain Me the Blues\u201d (National Public Radio). Drue is an Anna Award nominee for best supporting actress as Beneatha in \u201cA Raisin in the Sun\u201d (Mill Mountain Theatre) and received an AUDELCO Award for Best Ensemble for the H.A.D.L.E.Y.
